All-Nice "Chip On My Shoulder"

After doing some brief research I can’t find any information on All-Nice. I can find the products, but no information or official site. I found this t-shirt over at Karmaloop and found it to be pretty witty and clever. The design is simple and sweet and that is what I like. Nobody is going to be blown away by this tee, but it its one that people will smirk at and comment. When I first saw it I must admit I had no idea what it even was, so I clicked on it to see the larger image. The moment I saw the Ruffles style chip, I just smiled. I am sure you will get similar reactions from many people.

“Chip On My Shoulder” is a t-shirt for someone with a little swag, somebody with confidence and that little extra something. The tee comes in red, black, brown, and navy blue. What is unique as about this shirt is that the chip is embroidered and not printed. I like this as it adds to the chip look as well as it is different than your typical printed tee. There is also the All-Nice logo is stitched on the right chest area as well. If you want to make some people chuckle and show that you have that little extra something, you can buy this tee for $30. 200 Nipples is a pretty awesome company which I must admit I just found out about. Basically 200 Nipples means that they only make 100 of each limited edition shirt, therefore covering 100 nipples (plus or minus a nipple here and there). In fact, you even get a Certificate of Authenticity. So everyone who purchases one of these shirts is one of only 100 people to be wearing it. What a great idea!

"Progress" is available to buy 3.29.10 - 4-5-10 and shipping will happen on 4-7-10. The deal is that you can actually choose the number t-shirt you want, but you have to be quick to the draw. You can choose 1-100. As the numbers go up, the tees price escalates at the same rate. So t-shirt number 42 will cost you $42 and t-shirt 100 will cost you $100. From what I can see they have both classic and girlie cut available. For this particular shirt it is a really nice blue with a building being constructed with a banner down the side saying "progress". This tee is all about change and being a part of the our world and the solution. This shirt is not for those who like to hide and let others do the work for them. The shirt itself is very subtle in its approach but I think that is what makes the message so clear. It is all of the little subtle things which help to form the larger changes around us. Although this shirt is called "Progress", I find it to be pretty complete. Don't miss out on your opportunity to buy one as there are only 74 and counting...

Blue Culture: "Shades"

This shirt was created by Blue Culture which I found on Kindred Market. If you are unfamiliar with Kindred Market I suggest you check them out, it is pretty cool.

The t-shirt I am writing about today is, “Shades”. What a fun look. Who has not rocked a pair of these sunglasses at a party when you were 6? I’m not going to lie; I still have a pair I wear on sunny days. These styles of sunglasses are becoming more and more popular; the Ray Ban 80’s look. Either way this shirt has a retro clean look to it which I enjoy. It makes me want to thrown on a pair of shades myself.

Ugmonk: "And Then I Woke Up"

Ugmonk? What the heck does that even mean? Well for now it is a secret according to the brand creator Jeff Sheldon.

After Sheldon had success on t-shirt contest sites like DBH he thought he would dabble on his own.

“And Then I Woke Up” stuck out to me because of the bold simple look. It’s awesome that so much is portrayed with so little in these designs. The use of typography is brilliant, no wonder Ugmonk has had such success so quickly. All of these shirts are pretty awesome; you should certainly check them out! This particular shirt also comes in grey.

Most t-shirts are $24 while their one year anniversary shirt is going for $30. I think $24 for a shirt of this kind is typical and makes sense. I want one! Design By Humans: "Modern Style"

I thought in this post I would share something I liked at a more well known site. I found this t-shirt at Design By Humans, also known as DBH.

"DBH is an ongoing t-shirt contest and community where artists and t-shirt lovers can create, buy, and talk aboout everything related to art and t-shirts."

“Modern Style” made me smile the first time I saw it because it was so darn simple. It uses geometric shapes to create this very modern looking design, which I love. Sometimes you want a t-shirt which is flashy and loud. Sometimes you want a t-shirt which is very detailed and in depth. Sometimes you want a t-shirt which is basic and bold; this is just that. The simplicity of this design with the colors is what really makes this work for me. This shirt just has it, enough said.

Some background on this shirt is that it was created by brilliancy, a member of DBH. The only thing we know about brilliancy is that they are from Finland and this is their first big win on the site, so congratulations!

Worn Free: "Float Like a Butterfly"

Worn Free essentially is a website devoted to recreating some classic t-shirts which have been worn by legends of the past. The site actually shows you a picture of the famous person wearing the shirt, with the shirt for you to buy right next to it. They have shirts from people like John Lennon, Joey Ramone, Frank Zappa, Elvis Presley, Kurt Cobain, and the list goes on...

"Our mission is simple: To recreate the coolest T-Shirts of all time."

In this case the famous Muhammad Ali, "Float Like a Butterfly" t-shirt. I really like how Muhammad Ali is written here. The saying on the back just hits it out of the park. This saying is so well known and such a direct reflection of who Muhammad Ali was as an athlete and as a person. The simplicity of it and almost unrefined look is what really turns me on to this.


This classic will cost you a pretty penny through, $49.95 to be exact. Some of you may scream "yikes!" to this. All I can say is that I almost guarantee that if you wear this shirt you will get a ton of comments and compliments, from people of all ages. This is a conversation starter. Hope you enjoy!
