Sorry I don't have much time today but I still wanted to post something for all of you.
Here is "Leader of the Pack" which I found at Cotton Factory. You can pick this tee for $15.99, not bad at all (that doesn't include shipping).
What I dig about this asphalt tee is the gloominess and darkness of it. The color of the tee is asphalt, but the shirt itself almost looks as hard as asphalt.
Having the smoke turn into red birds is just awesome. There is something liberating about this tee. The bottom is so restricting and the top is so free.
It contrasts machine and industry with nature. Perhaps our industries should be the Leader Of The Pack and make it so that we have a world which looks more like the top of the tee and less like the bottom of the shirt.

Violent Elegance: Trees For Tees
Violent Elegance is an awesome company and if you haven't heard of them check them out now! The company is based in Berlin, Germany and produces simple tees with strong black and white prints as well as fluorescent prints. The shirts are just so raw and that is what I like best. There are 17 shirts up and all but one are white, it is black. Some people hate white tees, but I love them.
The Violent Elegance shirts are hand printed on American Apparel tees and have free shipping worldwide! All of the tees go for €29,00 (sorry I can't find the dollar value). I did some basic math and based on a conversion of €1 = $1.32449, I came up with a price of $38.41 (hope I did that right).
Although I am a huge fan and have two of there t shirts the one I am focusing on today is the "Wood" tee. This particular shirt is now printed on 100% organic cotton, which I am all about! I love how organic this tee is, no pun intended. What I meant by this is just how natural the design looks and raw.
What is Trees For Tees? It is awesome, for every "Wood" shirt sold Violent Elegance will plant a Pinus sylvestris tree. Apparently these trees will be planted in Berlin/Friedrichshagen,a new forest. Support this awesome company and awesome cause!

Druks: "Air Druks"
Druks is a company which is out of Paris, France. When I first went to the site it was all in French. Besides visiting France last July and taking it in sixth grade, my knowledge of the language does not go past "bonjour". You are in luck if you know as little French as I do because the site is also in English.
Somewhat contrary to the last post I did about Paste, Druks, "Cool tees for fresh kids" is all about over-sized prints and bright colors. I will start by saying that these designs are not going to blow your mind at all! The designs and text are simple and to the point, which is what I like about them. Basic and bold is how I look at this brand and I like that.
I chose the "Air Druks" because I love how they used the t-shirt itself to create the shoe (very creative). The design is well put together and is perfect if you are into kicks. I am not a huge shoe person, but this shirt just looks right and has some swag to it, which I do enjoy from time to time, haha. If you like bold fashion you can pick up this Euro tee for $44.09.

Paste: "3D" Tee
Paste is a tee company created by Jason Laurits. While in his early 20's Laurits was focused on a music career. In order to help promote his music he taught himself how to silkscreen to make posters and one-of-a-kind t-shirts.
He eventually decided to take a break from music and went to the New School for writing. While in school he continued to sell his t-shirts. It was during this time that he was able to grow a strong fan base, so that when his schooling was over he had enough steam to focus on developing the brand.
The shirts themselves are unique in that they have many different influences. The use of his own photographs, old maps, and family keepsakes are just a few of the elements Laurits puts into his work.
It is evident in all of his designs that he does pull from many different areas to create these masterpieces. One shirt which I think exemplifies this is the tee, "3D". This picture reminds me of the good old days when you could go to the movies for a nickle and be there all day (or so I hear). The addition of the 3D shades adds a modern twist to the shirt which makes is funny, kinda of ironic, and uplifting. I like how he combines old school and new school in this.
Some information about the shirts themselves is that they are produced in California and hand-silk screened in Brooklyn, NY. The shirts are created using water-based paint and heat-set for color fastness.
In a time when tee shirt producers are trying to get bigger and louder, it is nice to see a company take a step back, and create designs which are well thought out, fun, and refreshing. If you are into this design as much as I am I suggest you pick one up! This tee comes in gray as well and will cost you $30. Go treat yourself. Enjoy!

Shirtmandude.com
Since last week I offered you a few tees which were on the expensive side I figured that this week I would give you a cheap treat. So, check out shirtmandude.com where all t-shirts are only $10.50! Since the shirts are so reasonable there is an incentive to purchase multiple shirts. If you buy more than one, and I suggest you do, you will save big on shipping.
Shirtmandude is a site which focuses on vintage style t shirts. They carry retro t-shirts, 80's t-shirts, tv t-shirts, sports t-shirts, music t-shirts, and more. Many of the shirts are classics and will bring a smile to your face! I thought I would share two examples here and they are the, "Washington Redskins vintage throwback logo t shirt" and the "Star Wars C3PO with fender electric guitar vintage t shirt". Can't get much better than this. Check out what else they have to offer!
